The second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic presented an unprecedented challenge to our country. The severity of the virus and its quick transmission resulted in a
sudden spike of cases. Several ANAND Group employees and their family members were also adversely affected, and sadly, many of them succumbed to the disease.
But the Group also had various success stories of COVID-19 survivors, who faced adversities with grit and determination. These individuals were ably supported by
a well-structured and dedicated mechanism set up by the Group across locations, which provided timely guidance and the requisite help. The survivors are truly
indebted to their respective HR departments, colleagues, crisis management teams and the ANAND family for providing the essential and timely medical as well as
moral support, which definitely helped them as well as their family members in their speedy recovery.
