The ANAND Group companies across hubs formed crisis management teams along with respective company HR and COVID warriors to help employees and their
immediate family members during the devastating second wave. Various initiatives were executed as highlighted below

Vaccination Drive
Vaccination camps were organised within company
premises or tie-ups arranged with authorised
hospitals/agencies to get vaccinations administered
to all employees and family members

Support to COVID-19 Positive Employees
The teams established a well-structured and
effective mechanism to provide immediate and
appropriate support to COVID-19 positive
employees and their respective family members.
They empanelled hospitals like Fortis, Aditya Birla,
Apollo etc. and provided support with
hospital procedures – seamless admissions,
discharge and insurance claims. Additional
COVID-19 insurance was taken for all employees
and their family members. Oxygen cylinders,
concentrators and company ambulance with
trained staff were made available 24X7.

Tie-ups were established with hospitals/ doctors
telemedicines agencies for round the clock
consultation and medical support. Apart from this,
hostels were converted into quarantine centres
with basic amenities and additional quarantine
rooms at nearby hotels were also booked. The
teams regularly communicated with affected
employees and families to provide much needed
reassurance and emotional support, which was
crucial during trying times.

Pre COVID-19 Precautions during second wave Continuation of stringent guidelines
Regular sanitization and disinfection of company All the strict guidelines imposed during the first

The teams ensured that quarantined employees
were kept occupied through yoga, music
sessions, health talks and other activities like
quizzes, trainings etc. Multivitamins and health
supplements were made available at the shopfloor
to improve immunity.
