Spicer India was ranked the 26th amongst the participants and the first in the auto component industry. The award ceremony was held at the ITC Grand Central, Mumbai. Spicer India (Chakan plant) received the “Certificate of Merit for Safety Excellence” as a part of the sustainability awards given by Frost and Sullivan and TERI Sustainability 4.0 team. The Chakan plant underwent a detailed site assessment audit during the month of March and scored 692 points out of 1100. The top six companies among a total of 32 participants were awarded the Certificate of Merit. The safety culture journey at the Pune plant started in 2011 and since then, the team members have constantly endeavoured to achieve safe, clean and green environment.
