ValuEarth Conservation

Investing in Earth’s Intrinsic Value

Explore our vision

ValuEarth Conservation is a legacy foundation created by Anjali and Jaisal Singh in honour of the late Valmik Thapar, grounded in a shared commitment to restoring balance between people and nature. We work in India and globally to address urgent environmental challenges, with a strong focus on big cats and the ecosystems they depend on.

Our vision

A future where people and nature thrive together, restoring the ecosystems, landscapes and natural resources that sustain all life.

Our mission

Restoring, protecting, and connecting wilderness ecosystems to safeguard our planet for generations to come, in meaningful partnership with Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities.

Our approach

Regenerative Investment

We aim to direct capital, innovation, and influence toward identified areas within and beyond national parks and reserves that often serve as buffers for important ecological corridors. This provides us with an important opportunity to establish sustainable nature-based economies and address the underlying drivers of ecological degradation while creating holistic and sustainable impact for both nature and people.

Securing Land for Conservation

Secure large-scale land beyond parks and reserves to preserve and restore key ecological habitats, enhance connectivity, and protect threatened species.

Global Partnerships

Collaborate with NGOs, research institutions, government agencies, and philanthropic foundations on selected high-impact conservation programmes.

Science-led Management

Support science-led conservation programmes focused on species protection and recovery, rewilding, and climate mitigation/adaptation projects.

Community Conservation

Empower Indigenous Peoples and local communities to coexist with nature and wildlife through dedicated land-management initiatives.

Honouring Valmik

Valmik Thapar was one of the world’s most respected wildlife conservationists and hailed as the foremost authority on tigers. Valmik tirelessly championed the cause of conservation with gargantuan zeal, energy and passion for over half a century. An inspiration to millions across the globe through the fifty books he authored, the television documentaries he presented, the talks he gave, and his personal advocacy of conservation, he fought battle after battle to conserve India’s natural treasury.

“ValuEarth was born from our belief that the future of wild landscapes depends upon restoring balance between people and nature. Inspired by our late uncle, Valmik ‘Valu’ Thapar, whose courage and lifelong dedication to India’s wildlife continue to guide us, the Foundation brings together our conservation work, giving it renewed purpose and greater reach. Through ValuEarth, we hope to continue to protect wildernesses and strive for a future where people and nature thrive together.”
