When a boys’ government school in Manesar reported 34% performance by Grade 10 students in 2015, the reasons were ascribed to poor infrastructure, insufficient teaching aids, student attitude and low attendance.

SNSF engaged with the school to provide life skills classes for Grade 8 students. Attendance was initially low. The Foundation provided additional teachers for coaching the academically weak students, books, shelves for a library, helped in the construction of classrooms, commissioned a science laboratory and also planned educational trips. SNSF’s investments have borne fruit. Manesar Government Boys School came first in its block with the pass percentage of 88.71 in 2017. Further, in 2018, five students of Grade 5 were selected for the prestigious Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
