Air Cleaner Modules

MAHLE provides a range of air cleaners to all major auto manufacturers, classified under two categories (cassette type and cylindrical type). MAHLE serves as a one-stop shop for complete air cleaner modules including ducts and resonators. These products are designed to maximise filtration with minimal pressure loss and optimised NVH performance. These products are optimised for a stable MAF signal to meet BS IV and BS VI emission norms. As a technology leader of plasticised filter elements, MAHLE responds flexibly to any package constraint using a range of designs.

MAHLE supplies a wide range of air cleaner modules customised around commercial and off-road vehicles. Its readily available products suit a range of flow rates, equipped with performance enhancement features (centrifugal pre-separators, vibration barriers, high-efficiency filtration media, filter life indicators, etc.) MAHLE designs and develop ducts, connectors and brackets to fit the air cleaners across different vehicles.

Air Intake Manifolds

MAHLE is the largest global supplier of plastic air intake manifolds. MAHLE supplies plastic manifolds for petrol and diesel engines in India as well, designed to suit the customer’s engine configuration. PA (nylon) is used to manufacture these manifolds and MAHLE tests products before supplying to customers.

Cabin Air Filters

MAHLE cabin air filters deliver clean odourless air inside the vehicle, manufactured with precision using fully automatic machines.

Carbon Canisters

MAHLE is a large manufacturer and exporter of carbon canisters designed to suit fuel tank volume and emission targets. MAHLE carbon canisters maximise utilisation and minimise carbon loss.

Cylinder Head Covers

MAHLE is a leading plastic cylinder head cover supplier. These covers are pre-fitted with a gasket on the mounting flange, providing a leak-proof facility throughout the vehicle’s life. These covers are equipped with an oil mist separator that separates oil particles from the blow-by gas that maintains the crank case pressure within a specified range. MAHLE oil mist separator design accommodates a large range of blow-by gas without affecting separation efficiency.

Fuel Filter / Modules

Fuel filtration is important in an environment where performance and emission requirements are becoming progressively stringent. MAHLE designs and manufactures world-class solutions for Indian applications. MAHLE supplies a range of fuel filters (gasoline and diesel) to major auto manufacturers. Metal, paper and plastic raw materials are used in MAHLE products. Water separation is a crucial process in the diesel filter, empowering the company to design and develop filters with high water separation. As a responsible brand, MAHLE produces these filters in specially constructed clean rooms.

Oil Filter / Modules

MAHLE provides a range of spin-on oil filters to major auto manufacturers from all four locations of MAHLE Filter India. These products are marked by standardisation. A large variety of child parts allows MAHLE to address a large range of engines. The use of standardised rubber materials have resulted in a short product development time. MAHLE has established a number of filter paper grades that can be used as per customer needs.

Oil Mist Separators

MAHLE started manufacturing oil mist separators in 2008. MAHLE provides different technologies to OEMs. Within cyclonic, rotating and switched impactors, MAHLE provides a range of switched impactors with fleece for diesel engine applications. These products address a variety of blow-by flow in the same geometry without sacrificing separation efficiency. These products are normally equipped with a non-return valve, overflow valve, pressure regulator valve or pressure control valve.
