Mrs. Anjali Singh receives the prestigious International Women’s Day Award from ICUNR

ANJALI SINGH is being awarded for her exceptional contribution towards the field of HOSPITALITY

Anjali Singh was born in New Delhi, is an artist and a businesswoman. Anjali was educated at Aiglon College, Switzerland, thereafter completing both her Bachelors and Masters in Fine Art degrees from the prestigious Central Saint Martins School of Art & Design in London.

She is the Executive Chairperson of ANAND Group since 2011, a conglomerate of 19 companies, as well as its public-listed flagship, Gabriel India Limited. The group annual turnover is over 1.4 Billion USD with 18000 employees.

In 2009, the group’s foray into experiential hotels started with SUJÁN, which currently has a portfolio of five award-winning luxury properties, four in Rajasthan and one in Kenya, all the ones located in India are members of Relais & Chateaux, an association of the world’s finest hotels, hoteliers and grand chefs. She is actively involved in SUJÁN and plays the vital role of Creative Director of conceptualizing and designing the properties as well as enhancing the brand. SUJÁN is well known for its commitment to the conservation and preservation of India’s wildlife, heritage and culture.

She is a member of Saat Saath Arts Foundation, a Foundation established with an objective to see India’s contemporary arts find its rightful place internationally and to activate public art in India.

She is a co-author of number of books on Wildlife- “Ranthambhore – The Tiger’s Realm” along with her husband Jaisal Singh & Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, “JAWAI – Land of the Leopard” along with Jaisal Singh and “The Magical Mara- A Family Safari”.
