Henkel ANAND India Private Limited is a joint venture between the ANAND Group and Henkel AG & Co. KGaA, Germany, a global leader in adhesives, sealants and consumer goods. The company manufactures innovative sealing, structural and glazing adhesive solutions, as well as NVH pillar components that contribute to vehicle safety, performance and light weighting. Henkel ANAND has a manufacturing presence in Gurugram (Haryana), Kanchipuram (Tamil Nadu) and Kurkumbh in Pune district, Maharashtra.

For over three decades, Henkel ANAND has partnered with SNS Foundation (SNSF) to support initiatives focused on education, skill development, environmental sustainability and community well-being, creating lasting impact in the communities surrounding its operations.

Advancing Quality Education and Inclusive Learning

Henkel ANAND supports access to quality education through investments in school infrastructure, teaching support and learning resources across communities in Parwanoo, Gurugram, Chennai and Kurkumbh. The company also supports institutions serving children with special needs and promotes access to engaging educational content through the development of books focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL).

Promoting Skills for Employability

Henkel ANAND invests in vocational training programmes that equip young people with industry-relevant skills and improve their employability. Training programmes in trades such as electrical work and plumbing are designed to create pathways to sustainable livelihoods while addressing skill gaps in local communities.

Strengthening Water Security and Environmental Sustainability

Environmental stewardship is a key focus area for Henkel ANAND. The company supports initiatives that promote renewable energy, water conservation, ecological restoration and sustainable resource management. Projects include rainwater harvesting, pond rejuvenation and check dam construction, helping to improve water availability for communities and agricultural livelihoods.

Henkel ANAND has also partnered with ACYM to maintain a public park in Gurugram for over a decade, creating a greener and more vibrant community space.

  • Two check dams constructed to enhance rainwater harvesting
  • Three ponds rejuvenated in communities around Kurkumbh
  • Rainwater storage capacity increased by approximately 26.36 million litres
  • 150 wells and borewells supported through improved groundwater recharge

  • 1,560 kWh of electric energy conserved per month, due to solar energy installations at Girme Vasti and Hinganigada

Empowering Women Through Livelihood Development

Henkel ANAND works with women's self-help groups (SHGs) to strengthen financial inclusion and expand livelihood opportunities. In partnership with the Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM), the company supports women through access to microcredit, entrepreneurship training and capacity-building initiatives that enable sustainable income generation.

Innovative community enterprises, such as the management of village water infrastructure, are also creating new livelihood opportunities for women while improving access to essential services.
