The theme for this year’s World Environment Day is ‘Only One Earth’, focusing our attention on ‘Living Sustainability in Harmony with Nature’. This sentiment is shared by all at Mando Automotive India (MAIL) where we strive to live more sustainably, recycle and compost where possible, and reduce our energy consumption and waste wherever we can. All this is attainable by taking simple steps and working together as a global community. On this World Environment Day, a plantation drive was carried out on the MAIL campus in the presence of our honourable chief guests Mr. Madhusudan and Mr. Jeeva Kumar from Hyundai Motors India (SQA) team; Mando plant heads Mr. Jayakumar and Mr. Mahendraboopathy; production heads Mr. Kandavel and Mr. Kumaraguru; safety head Mr. Sureshkumar and his team; DGM Quality Mr. Vasudevan and his team; Manager Mr. Kingsly and Operating Engineers.

Joyson Anand Abhishek Safety Systems donates Advance Life Support Ambulance
Joyson ANAND Abhishek Safety Systems (JAAI) donated an Advance Life Support Ambulance to Shri Nitin Gadkari Ji, Minister of Road Transport & Highways of India, and Shri Mool Chand Sharma Ji, Transport Minister of Haryana, as a part of their Corporate Social Responsibility. Mr. Mahendra S. Rajawat, President & MD, JAAI handed over the keys to the dignitaries. Also present at the event were Mr. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO of Maruti Suzuki and Mr. Kawazu Kunihiko, Minister & Deputy Chief of Mission, Japan in India. This is in keeping with JAAI’s mission: ‘Safety is our middle name’.
Blood Donation Camp
Joyson ANAND Abhishek Safety Systems (JAAI) organised a Blood Donation Camp at their Chennai and Manesar locations. Approximately 84 employees from JAAI, MAHLE ANAND Thermal Systems & ANAND CY Myutec Automotive volunteered and were given certificates of appreciation. Refreshments were provided as tokens of gratitude.
COVID-19 booster vaccination camp held at Parwanoo hub
SNS Foundation, Parwanoo, held a vaccination camp to administer COVID-19 booster doses to all eligible employees free of cost. From the Parwanoo hub, employees from Anchemco ANAND, Ansysco ANAND, Gabriel India, MAHLE ANAND Filter Systems, ANAND School and SNSF participated in this camp.

Anchemco ANAND and Ansysco ANAND organised a yoga session for 18 employees to enhance their outlook and attitude towards work. The event was held at their company premises recently. A yoga trainer from Employees State Insurance (ESI), Parwanoo conducted the session.

The staff of ANAND CY Myutec Automotive participated in a plantation drive to mark the 51st anniversary of Earth Day. Saplings were planted in the nearby park in keeping with this year’s theme, ‘invest in our planet’.
World Environment Day celebrations at MAHLE ANAND Filter Systems, Khandsa
On 6th June 2022, almost 60 employees along with Mr. Sarabjit Singh Kondal, COO, MAHLE ANAND Filter Systems, and the leadership team planted approximately 100 fruit saplings at Captain Chandan Lal Special Middle School for Blind, Gurugram. This residential school provides free education to over 100 blind boys and girls from the preschool stage to Class 8. Praising the tree plantation drive, Ms. Shilpi Wadhwa, Head, Human Resources, thanked the participants for their efforts to save Mother Earth and urged them to adopt an eco-friendly lifestyle.
