Gabriel India, Khandsa team won the Gold Award at the International Convention on Quality Control Circles 2017, held at Manila, Philippines. The Khandsa team was recognized for the theme ‘Quality Teams Evolved – Driving Change and Sustainability through Quality Circles’.

Four of ANAND Group companies were recognised under various categories at the third summit of The Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), Centre for Technology (ACT) held in Pune

ANAND CY Myutec Automotive, Gurugram received Gold award for Quality and Productivity in the Large Category.

Mahle Filter Systems India, Chennai received Silver award in Health & Safety for Very Large Category.

Dana Anand India, Satara received Silver award for Quality and Productivity in Very Large Category and was also awarded Silver award for Excellence in Human Resource.Mr. Manoj Kolhatkar, Managing Director, Gabriel India, Mr. Rajeev Gera, Chief Operating Officer, Anand CY Myutec Automotive and Mr. Mohit Srivastava, Plant head-Khandsa, Gabriel India along with other team members from the winning companies represented ANAND Group at the ACMA event.

Dana Anand India wins the Golden Peacock Innovation Management Award -2017, December 14, 2017

Dana Anand India was awarded with prestigious “Golden Peacock Innovation Management Award -2017” (GPIMA) on 14 Dec 2017.

The Golden Peacock trophy and a certificate was awarded to Mr. Raghu Muttige, Vice President, Engineering & Innovation and Mr. Sandeep Gandhi, Dy. General Manager, Innovation on behalf of Dana Anand India by Mr. Jawed Ashraf, High Commissioner of India to Singapore in the presence of distinguished gathering of business leaders during IOD India’s “Singapore Global Convention”. Dana Anand India was declared the winner by the award jury under the Chairmanship of Justice (Dr.) Arijit Pasayat, former Judge, Supreme Court of India.

The Golden Peacock Award, instituted by the Institute of Directors, India in 1991, are regarded as a benchmark of corporate excellence worldwide. GPIMA honors organisations that have successfully embedded innovation into the basic tenants of their corporate cultures demonstrated in every function of the business and its operations. The award aims to promote a ‘Culture of Innovation’ in India and recognizes the efforts of companies that work towards strengthening this goal.

ANAND CY Myutec Automotive (ACYM) was recently felicitated with the prestigious Golden Peacock Award in HR Excellence for 2017. Mr. Rajeev Gera ,COO; Ms. Shweta Sharma, HR Head and Mr. JP Chauhan, Manufacturing Head represented ACYM at the award ceremony.

SNS Foundation contributed towards Rehabilitation efforts in the Aftermath of the Uttarakhand Floods

To recruit eligible candidates from the disaster-affected communities, SNS Foundation joined hands with the CII Foundation and the Uttarakhand Skill Development Society. Representatives from both the CII Foundation and the Uttarakhand Skill Development Society were present during the launch of training programme. On behalf of ANAND, SNS Foundation committed to train 50 youth via the two-month-long Honda-certified two-wheeler technician programme. The responsibility of placing them on completion of the programme was undertaken by the CII Foundation. To execute the same, as guided by the Dana Anand India plant in Pantnagar, SNS Foundation got in touch with the CII Foundation in Uttarakhand. The training, boarding and lodging costs of the youth coming from different districts of Uttarakhand were borne by SNS Foundation out of ANAND Group’s earmarked contribution for this purpose.

SNS Foundation’s MAST Programme student Riju K. Varghese bags ‘Star of the Month’ award at Myntra

Riju K. Varghese, a then 25-year-old student part of SNS Foundation’s MAST (Market Aligned Skills Training) programme while being employed as an assistant warehouse manager for Myntra bagged the ‘Star of the Month’ award. This was a commendable achievement considering the fact that his hearing and speech had been impaired since birth. “When I first joined Myntra, everybody was sympathetic towards me because of my disability and I was very uncomfortable with that attitude. I slowly tried to socialise with them. I worked very hard to prove that I am an equal competitor and their sympathetic attitude slowly vanished”, said Varghese. He added, “Recently, I got the ‘Star of the Month’ award for completing the maximum targets for the month of March in 2014”. “Before joining MAST, I did not have a source of income and found it difficult finding a job. I am thankful to SNS Foundation and the American India Foundation because of whose assistance I got the opportunity to work for Myntra”, said Varghese. With his earnings, he was able to pursue a degree in business administration to supplement his diploma and had made plans to get a MBA degree as well.

Shyam Benegal And Shyama Chona Hand Over Award To A Government-Run School Partnered By SNS Foundation

One of the 11 government schools SNS Foundation partnered in Gurgaon, three participated in the Steer to Safety campaign organised by PVR NEST (Network for Enablement and Social Transformation), the social engagement wing of PVR Cinemas. The Steer to Safety campaign included various initiatives using social media, including making minute-long documentaries and setting up school-level road safety clubs to reach out to local communities to spread awareness on different facets of road safety. The Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School in Sushant Lok participated in the school- level road safety club activity while the Government Girls’ Senior Secondary School in Jacobpura joined forces with the Xion International School to make a minute-long documentary called Wear Seat Belt While Driving. The Government Senior Secondary School in Sector-4 of Gurgaon together with the Chiranjeev Bharati School in Palam Vihar participated in both categories and produced a documentary titled Don’t Drive When Tired. The Government Senior Secondary School in Sector-4 secured the first prize in the club activity category along with the Tagore International School in Vasant Vihar.
