The Pantnagar Premier League (PPL) returned with a bang after the COVID-19 pandemic. This cricket-IPL-based competition comprises 6 teams who play against each other to decide the ultimate champions. Each team is owned by an HOD, who as franchise owners have purchased the team members by offering them chocolates. The teams participated with zest in this fun-filled event.

The United Nations observes World Creativity and Innovation Day to raise the awareness of the role of creativity and innovation in all aspects of human development. Accordingly, Dana Anand India, Chakan plant, organised creative quizzes and clay modelling sessions to promote artistic expression among its employees.

The first batch of rear axles manufactured at Dharuhera was successfully completed and dispatched to the customer, Maruti Suzuki India. In keeping with the company’s commitment to excellence, all quality standards were strictly adhered to.

On World Earth Day, Dana published its Annual Sustainability and Social Responsibility Report for the year 2021 entitled ‘A Better Way, A Better World’. At the event, Team Jodhalli was appreciated and recognised for its usage of Renewable Energy (88 per cent electricity consumed from solar energy) and was declared the ‘Most Improved Facility’.

Dana Anand India, Chakan plant team comprising Mr. Rajesh Pradhan and Mr. Pankaj Jha won the Gold Award at the virtual competition held recently by the Confederation of Indian Industry, for their case study on improvement in the MUDA (Japanese word meaning Wastefulness) category. Almost 50 teams participated in the competition.

Employees at ANAND CY Myutec Automotive planted saplings in the nearby park to show their commitment to preserving the environment. A quiz competition was also conducted within the company premises.

The staff of ANAND CY Myutec Automotive participated in a plantation drive to mark the 51st anniversary of Earth Day. Saplings were planted in the nearby park in keeping with this year’s theme, ‘invest in our planet’.

Employees at ANAND CY Myutec Automotive performed different yoga asanas under the guidance of a trained yoga teacher. Such sessions help employees understand the benefits of a simple, healthy lifestyle.
