As a part of World Environment Day celebrations across ANAND group, Mr Jaisal Singh and Mrs Anjali Singh along with their son, Master Sujan Singh, planted three tree saplings in the Corporate premises. They reaffirmed their commitment for “Prayas” by signing off on the poster and extended best wishes to the teams who will be participating in the competition (titled ‘Prayas’). Mr and Mrs Singh are hoping for maximum and dedicated participation from each ANAND location, minimum being one team per location.

We are pleased to announce that Gabriel, ANAND’s flagship company has been awarded the prestigious award for SPD performance 2013 – 14, in the recently concluded Annual Vendor conference of Mahindra & Mahindra. The award was presented by Dr. Pawan Goenka, Executive Director & President – Automotive, Farm Equipment & Two wheeler sector, Mahindra, Mr. Hemant Sikka, Chief Purchase Officer – Automotive, Farm Equipment sector and Mr. Pravin Shah, Chief Executive – Automotive Division & International Operations.

Mr. Deepak Chopra, Anand Group CEO and Chairman Gabriel India and Mr. Manoj Kolhatkar, Managing Director Gabriel India Limited received the award on behalf of Gabriel India and congratulated all the teams who stood by their commitments and met the SPD schedules month on month to enable Gabriel to receive this accolade.

This award has been conferred by the Great Place To Work® Institute in association with The Economic Times to recognize the “Top 100 India’s Best Companies to Work for in 2014”.

In its 11th year, India’s Best Companies to Work for 2014 edition, attracted participation from around 600 organizations spanning over 20 industries. Great Place to Work’s methodology is recognized as rigorous and objective, thereby setting the standard for defining great workplaces. The findings are published annually in prestigious media channels across the globe.

This recognition endorses our commitment and determination in the last few years to create an environment of association and belonging within Dana Anand India. This resulted in healthy symbiosis of trust and co-operation.

ANAND’s rehabilitative efforts in the aftermath of the Uttarakhand floods involved skilling and placing 50 youth from the flood-affected areas. SNS Foundation led these efforts with companies across the Group contributing. In the first batch, nine youth were trained in the Honda Motors-certified two-wheeler technician course over a period of two months starting 22nd April. SNS Foundation implemented this initiative in partnership with the CII Foundation, Dehradun and Uttarakhand Skills Development Society. The nine students received certificates from Mr. G.V. Joshi (Senior Manager – Customer Services Department, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India) at the graduation ceremony on 25th June. Facilitated by CII, six students received job offers at Ess Ell Honda (Dehradun), a Honda dealership. Workshop manager, Mr. Gagan Gauri hand over the offer letters to the students. The students then shared their experiences during the two-month training period, presented a local folk song and staged a skit on the importance of speaking English. Representatives of all stakeholders – ANAND, CII, Uttarakhand Skills Development Society, Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India and Ess Ell Honda were present during the event.

Gabriel India, ANAND CY Myutec Automotive win big at ACMA Awards, Sep 03, 2015

Two companies of ANAND Group, Gabriel India Ltd. and ANAND CY Myutec Automotive were awarded the Gold Trophy in the Excellence in HR (Special) category and Bronze Trophy in the Excellence in Quality & Productivity (Large) category respectively at the 55th Annual Session & National Conference held on September 3, 2015 in New Delhi. The event was conducted by the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and the Chief Guest, Anant Gangaram Geete, Union Cabinet.

Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Sector Enterprises graced the ceremony with his presence. Manoj Kolhatkar, MD Gabriel India said, “Winning this award is a great achievement & this would take us to higher levels of recognition, encouraging us to continue to thrive for HR excellence for years to come.” On the hand, Rajeev Gera, COO, ANAND CY Myutec Automotive said, “We are honored to be recognized in this forum.
