Grade X CBSE Examinations, 2022

Praiseworthy efforts by students of the school in class X Board exams proved “All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them” out of 21 students 15 students scored 90% and above 4 students scored between 80 to 90% and 2 students scored between 70- 80%. The school topper Aabhya Sood scored a whopping 99.4% .

With their grit determination and firmness of purpose, these diligent students proved their worth. This was a challenging year both for students and teachers as classes were held online. Despite this, the students gave it their all and did their very best in the given circumstances.

The school Director Ms. Usha Kaushesh congratulated the staff and students on achieving a 100 percent result and wished luck for the future.

Participation in Discovery School Super League – Powered by BYJU’S

Devansh Rana of class 5 participated in Discovery super school league season 4 and added another feather in Anand School’s cap. Discovery School Super League – Powered by BYJU’S, is a critical thinking, aptitude and General knowledge quiz which provides a unique platform for students to compete at National level and win laurels for themselves, their parents and school.

 

He qualified for national level and represented Himachal Pradesh along with his 2 team mates from Shimla and Hamirpur. The competition was held at Mumbai. There the team secured the 2nd position for which they have been given 1 lakh each worth of cash prize and an all expenses paid trip to NASA (USA).

 

The entire staff as well as students are proud of this worthy achievement.

ANAND School, Parwanoo achieved 100% pass percentage in the All-India Grade X CBSE Examinations, 2021

A total of 22 students gave the exams and passed with outstanding grades; this was the first batch to make the grade X board examinations from the school and has achieved cent percent results.

La Martiniere Model United Nations (LMUN 2020)

The La Martiniere Model United Nations (LMUN), a competition organised by La Martiniere College, Lucknow, saw the participation of several schools, mainly from Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi. Eight students from ANAND School—Ananya Sood, Aditya Sharma, Kriti Narang and Rudraksh Sharma from the 10th grade and Avni Gambhir, Mridul Sharma, Riya Singh and Yamini Dhar from the 9th grade—joined in as well. In a MUN a student delegate presents the difficulties people face in front of the chair with regard to the given portfolio, committee and agenda provided so as to find solutions to global crises and problems.

ANAND School observes World Television Day

The United Nations General Assembly has proclaimed 21st November as World Television Day to recognise the increasing impact television has on contemporary life. To commemorate the day, students from Classes 7 and 8 participated in a debate on the topic ‘Is Television really an idiot box?’ Although this was their first virtual debate, their enthusiasm and efforts were commendable. Students were also informed about limiting their screen time and also about utilising television and other information channels in order to maximize their knowledge.

ANAND School students participated in National Science Congress organised by HIMCOSTE

8 students of Anand School participated in National Science Congress organised by HIMCOSTE. The competition included a number of activities such as origami art, model making, maths olympiad and quiz. More than 90 schools from across the state participated in this competition and 2 students Mridul Sharma and Riya Singh (Class 8) from our school qualified for the district level whereas Mridul Sharma bagged the first prize in activity corner at state level. This was indeed an achievement for the school.

ANAND School children celebrate ‘Swachhata Pakhwada’ in Parwanoo

To mark the 150th birth anniversary of the Father of Nation, an array of activities was organised by ANAND School. Children took part in essay competition, debate, poster making, and plantation drive and also wrote letters to ‘Bapu’.

Various activities were carried out over a period of 15 days during which children showcased their creative skills by making posters and sketches based on the theme ‘Mahatma Gandhi’s life inspire me to…’ To raise awareness regarding cleanliness and hygiene conditions a rally was held by the senior children in which they distributed dustbins to local vendors of the town. Children pledged to be the leaders of clean India.

PM Modi holds Pariksha Pe Charcha

Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi holds a unique interaction where students, parents and teachers come together to discuss exams, life and more in New Delhi on January 29, 2019. Students from ANAND School were glued to the screen to watch the live show on ‘Pariksha Ki Baat Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ke Saath’. Nearly 2,000 students from across India participated in the event. Students from other parts of the globe joined in via live video-conference.

Prof. Shoji Shiba and Prof. Furuhashi Visit at ANAND School

Prof. Shoji Shiba and Prof. Furuhashi, International Experts of VLFM technique; associated with ANAND Group India visited ANAND School on 13th April, 2017 along with the management members Mr. C.S.Patel and Mr.Ratnam. Meeting such personalities was a real inspiration for the staff and students of the school.
