First Female Network Break at MAHLE ANAND Filter Systems

The Female Network Break at MAHLE ANAND Filter Systems (MAFS) held its first session on Monday 22nd June 2022. Ms. Shilpi Wadhwa, Head, Human Resources, MAFS and Dr. Pooja Hanspal, Health & Wellness Coach on women’s health, conducted the session, which covered the following topics:

• Educate employees about PCOS and to overcome the challenges
• Adopt a healthy lifestyle inclusive of diet and workouts
• Monitoring your emotional well-being, managing stress, anxiety and sleep disorders

Rainwater Harvesting System inaugurated at MAHLE ANAND Filter Systems, Pune plant

Mr. Hemant Girsawle, EHS Head, MAHLE Holding, and Mr. Sarabjit Singh Kondal, COO, MAHLE ANAND Filter Systems (MAFS), inaugurated a Rainwater Harvesting (RWH) system at the Pune plant on 8th June 2022. Also present were MAFS Function Heads: Mr. Prashant Pawar, Head, Operations; Mr. Nikhil Agrawal, BU2 Sales & Marketing: Mr. Sumit Rustagi, Head, R&D; Mr. Balvinder Singh, Head, EHS; Mr. Jayprakash Manore, Pune Plant Head; and team members. The total capacity of this project is 28000 cubic meter Per annum. It is expected that this system will replenish groundwater resources by almost 3 times.

All 4 plants of MAHLE ANAND Filter Systems celebrated the 8th International Yoga Day to express their wholehearted commitment to the principles of this ancient practice. Yoga’s benefits are many. Not only does it emphasise the values of mindfulness, moderation, discipline and perseverance, it also spreads awareness about adopting a healthy lifestyle for a sustainable living.

The team from Monitou France, currently in India to explore new business opportunities, visited the MAHLE ANAND Filter Systems, Khandsa plant, which is one of its suppliers for various components. The team was very impresses with the company’s state-of-the-art R&D lab as well as its design and development capabilities. The visitors included Mr. Alexis Girard, Global Spare Parts Purchasing Manager; Mr. Anand Maheshwari, General Manager, Parts Division; Mr. Christophe Courilleau, Buyer, Business Unit Spare Part, and Mr. Rajat Sharan, Buyer, Parts Division.

Pantnagar Premier League tournament at Dana Anand India

The Pantnagar Premier League (PPL) returned with a bang after the COVID-19 pandemic. This cricket-IPL-based competition comprises 6 teams who play against each other to decide the ultimate champions. Each team is owned by an HOD, who as franchise owners have purchased the team members by offering them chocolates. The teams participated with zest in this fun-filled event.

On World Earth Day, Dana published its Annual Sustainability and Social Responsibility Report for the year 2021 entitled ‘A Better Way, A Better World’. At the event, Team Jodhalli was appreciated and recognised for its usage of Renewable Energy (88 per cent electricity consumed from solar energy) and was declared the ‘Most Improved Facility’.
