ANJALI SINGH is being awarded for her exceptional contribution towards the field of HOSPITALITY

Anjali Singh was born in New Delhi, is an artist and a businesswoman. Anjali was educated at Aiglon College, Switzerland, thereafter completing both her Bachelors and Masters in Fine Art degrees from the prestigious Central Saint Martins School of Art & Design in London.

She is the Executive Chairperson of ANAND Group since 2011, a conglomerate of 19 companies, as well as its public-listed flagship, Gabriel India Limited. The group annual turnover is over 1.4 Billion USD with 18000 employees.

In 2009, the group’s foray into experiential hotels started with SUJÁN, which currently has a portfolio of five award-winning luxury properties, four in Rajasthan and one in Kenya, all the ones located in India are members of Relais & Chateaux, an association of the world’s finest hotels, hoteliers and grand chefs. She is actively involved in SUJÁN and plays the vital role of Creative Director of conceptualizing and designing the properties as well as enhancing the brand. SUJÁN is well known for its commitment to the conservation and preservation of India’s wildlife, heritage and culture.

She is a member of Saat Saath Arts Foundation, a Foundation established with an objective to see India’s contemporary arts find its rightful place internationally and to activate public art in India.

She is a co-author of number of books on Wildlife- “Ranthambhore – The Tiger’s Realm” along with her husband Jaisal Singh & Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, “JAWAI – Land of the Leopard” along with Jaisal Singh and “The Magical Mara- A Family Safari”.

Dana Anand India, Rudrapur celebrated its annual day titled ‘Spandan’ on 18th November 2018. On this occasion, students from SNS Foundation (SNSF) partner schools in Rudrapur – Government Primary School, Shivnagar and Government Primary School, Sanjay Nagar presented cultural performances to share messages on ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ through skit and a poem recitation on ‘Traffic Rules’.

Students from School of Inspired Leadership (SOIL) in association with SNS Foundation Gurugram conducted “ALUMNI MEET – 2018” themed on ‘Inspire and Aspire’, at the Foundation’s Multi Skill Development Centre for Women, situated in the heart of the millennium city.

Chief Guest, Dr. A.N. Bhattacharya, Professor and Program Chair, Marketing and Social Innovation Program, SOIL captivated everyone with his speech on “how important it is for women to be educated and skilled to achieve their dreams”. Several alumni of the centre shared their experiences on how SNS Foundation has helped them to acquire new skills to earn a livelihood for a better and secure future. The planned Large Scale Interactive Process (LSIP) for both the alumni and current batches helped them envisage their future prospects five year hence. The event was high on emotional quotient as alumni, students and parents in attendance shared innermost life situations that drove them to the training centre to develop their capabilities.

As a part of Zero Defect drive, MAHLE ANAND Thermal Systems, Noida team hosted Mr. P. K. Roy, Executive Director – Plant Operations (India), Mr. S Thakar, Sr. Vice President – Quality Assurance, and other team members from Maruti Suzuki India Limited. Mr. P. K. Roy inaugurated the DOJO MAHLE Training Center at MAHLE ANAND Thermal Systems, Noida and appreciated the team for the deployment of the Dojo practice at the plant. The purpose of building Dojo is to train and upgrade skills of the Operating Engineers.

ANAND Group India has been successfully collaborating with Liqui Moly, German lubricant specialist, for the last three years in the Indian automotive market. An event was organised in Delhi on 31st October 2018 to explore and further strengthen the aftermarket reach with retailers and workshop owners. It also celebrated the working relationship between west Delhi retailers and workshop owners with a key distributor ‘5S’ Distributions. The session was interactive and generated positive response.
