Mrs. Anjali Singh, Executive Chairperson, ANAND, led the ANAND team comprising Mr. Deepak Chopra, Group CEO, ANAND; Mr. Sunil Kaul and Mr. Manoj Kolhatkar, Members, ANAND Executive Committee and Mr. S. Sarathi, Joint Managing Director, Mando Automotive India, on a visit to the Mando Headquarters in Korea. She also met Mr. Chung Mong-won, CEO and Chairman, Mando Corporation, and other senior members. They discussed ways to further strengthen and grow the Mando and ANAND partnership. The ANAND Group has an over 20-year-long association with Mando, Korea.

Dana Anand India, Jodhalli plant, crossed the milestone of 5 million man-hours without a single lost time incident. This key milestone was celebrated in the presence of Mr. Zheng Boone, Head, Environmental Health Safety & Security (EHSS), Dana Asia Pacific.

Henkel ANAND India, Chennai plant, has become the first plant under Henkel AG & Company, KGaA, which is the Joint Venture partner of ANAND Group, to adopt the smart factory system in the India, Middle East and Africa (IMEA) region. In the era of Industry 4.0, Henkel ANAND India, Chennai plant, is happy to become a part of digital transformation (as part of Henkel 2020+ strategy) by using new age technologies. The plant’s smart manufacturing practices was successfully demonstrated at the Toyota Raw Materials Suppliers Meet 2019. Senior officials from Toyota appreciated Henkel ANAND team for showing their Jiritsuka model line at the event.

Gabriel India became the proud sponsor of Volkswagen Ameo Class National Championship 2019. The series, including multiple motor races, was hosted at different race tracks like the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore, Madras Motor Race Track in Chennai and Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida. Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) in association with HONDA Cars India (HCIL) organised the ‘ACMA & HCIL Technology Show 2019’ in Greater Noida. The event served as a significant platform for ACMA members to develop new business with Honda Cars India for ‘Specific Identified Products Category Requirements’. Three ANAND Group Companies, namely ANAND CY Myutec (ACYM), Joyson ANAND Abhishek Safety Systems (JAASS) and Mando Automotive India (MAIPL), showcased their product capabilities at the exhibition. Mr. Deepak Chopra, Group Chief Executive Officer, ANAND, and Chairman, Northern region, ACMA, presented a brief introduction about ACMA and its technology shows at the event.

The ANAND Corporate Materials department organised the 5th Purchasing and Supply Chain Meet 2019 for ANAND Group companies at Dana Anand India, Pune. Mr Deep C. Anand, Chief Mentor, DCA Foundation, attended the meet and interacted with the team members for a brief period. The event focused on special projects, future challenges, cost optimisation, streamlining supply chains and sharing best practices.

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organised the ‘International Automotive Supply Chain Conclave 2019’ in New Delhi to highlight some of the emerging trends for building intelligent supply chain ecosystems in India and globally. Mrs. Anjali Singh, Executive Chairperson, Gabriel India and ANAND Group, chaired the AGM along with the Gabriel Board of Directors and other senior representatives. The event was attended by shareholders and various key resolutions were unanimously passed.
