ANAND’s rehabilitative efforts in the aftermath of the Uttarakhand floods involved skilling and placing 50 youth from the flood-affected areas. SNS Foundation led these efforts with companies across the Group contributing. In the first batch, nine youth were trained in the Honda Motors-certified two-wheeler technician course over a period of two months starting 22nd April. SNS Foundation implemented this initiative in partnership with the CII Foundation, Dehradun and Uttarakhand Skills Development Society. The nine students received certificates from Mr. G.V. Joshi (Senior Manager – Customer Services Department, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India) at the graduation ceremony on 25th June. Facilitated by CII, six students received job offers at Ess Ell Honda (Dehradun), a Honda dealership. Workshop manager, Mr. Gagan Gauri hand over the offer letters to the students. The students then shared their experiences during the two-month training period, presented a local folk song and staged a skit on the importance of speaking English. Representatives of all stakeholders – ANAND, CII, Uttarakhand Skills Development Society, Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India and Ess Ell Honda were present during the event.

Two companies of ANAND Group, Gabriel India Ltd. and ANAND CY Myutec Automotive were awarded the Gold Trophy in the Excellence in HR (Special) category and Bronze Trophy in the Excellence in Quality & Productivity (Large) category respectively at the 55th Annual Session & National Conference held on September 3, 2015 in New Delhi. The event was conducted by the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and the Chief Guest, Anant Gangaram Geete, Union Cabinet.
Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Sector Enterprises graced the ceremony with his presence. Liqui Moly and ANAND have entered into a collaboration for sale and distribution of automotive car care, additives, lubricants and service products. ANSYSCO a part of ANAND will be the exclusive channel partner and licensee for complete range of automotive car care, additive and lubricants products in India.
The focus of the partnership will mainly be on high performance lubricants catering to premium cars and high-end motorcycles, high quality oil and engine additives for petrol & diesel vehicles and wide variety of premium quality car care products.
Mrs. Anjali Singh receives the prestigious Women Achievers Award from FICCI
Mrs. Anjali Singh, Chairperson, ANAND Supervisory Board & Chairperson, Gabriel India Limited has been felicitated with the YFLO Women Achievers Award 2015-16. The award ceremony was held at New Delhi on April 6, 2016. The award was handed over by the Chief Guest, Shri Jayant Sinha, Minister of State for Finance, Government of India.YFLO (Young FICCI Ladies Organisation) is the exclusive young women’s wing of the prestigious national organization FICCI (Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry). YFLO was launched in 2004 with the objective of meeting unique needs and aspirations of women in the age group 25-39 years.
