Valeo Friction Materials India Celebrates 20 Years Anniversary

Valeo Friction Materials India Pvt. Ltd. celebrated its 20th anniversary in September 2018 by organising a mega event called “Valeo Employee Fest”. The festivities saw participation from employees across all levels accompanied by their respective families, suppliers, customers and Valeo India directors. Mr. R. Rajesh Kumar, Managing Director, Valeo Friction graced the event. Around 600 peoples participated in this event and made it a big success.

The first half of the day began with participants being welcomed by traditional dance performances. The ceremony also had surprise offering for the kids in the form of a carnival, which was well received and much appreciated. This was followed by various cultural events by both external and internal performers. The second half of the day was marked by a felicitation programme. This ceremony was specially arranged to recognise and reward key employees for their long term services and special contributions to the company.

Christmas and New Year Celebrations

A host of employee engaging activities were organised across ANAND Group companies to mark the Christmas and New Year festivities such as ‘Secret Santa’ fun games, poster and cooking competitions, cake cutting and rewarding employees for their performance, exchange of goodies and chocolates amongst the employees and gift distribution for employees’ kids.

SNSF team celebrated Christmas with Government schools in Nashik, Parwanoo, Gurugram, Manesar and Jodahalli by engaging with the children in various thematic activities.

Quality Month Celebrations

Quality month was celebrated across ANAND Group companies with various employee engaging and themed activities during the month like quiz, poster and slogan competitions and pledging on quality.

  • Mr. Sachin Kulkarni, Head – Corporate Purchase at Volkswagen was the chief guest of the closing ceremony hosted at Gabriel India in Pune.
  • MAHLE ANAND Thermal Systems (MATS), Noida and Chakan plant hosted Mr. P. K. Roy, Executive Director, Plant Operations (India); Mr. S. Thakar, Sr. Vice President, Quality Assurance, and other team members from Maruti Suzuki India Limited.
  • Mr. Ritesh Reddy from Ashok Leyland visited Haldex ANAND India, Nashik plant on the occasion.
  • ANAND CY Myutec Automotive (ACYM) celebrated quality month closing ceremony with the introduction of quality circle in the presence of senior dignitaries from the company. The winners of the quality quiz contest and poster competition were also felicitated on the day.
  • All the sites of Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) across India took pledge and committed to total customer satisfaction in all deliverables.

Customer visit to Chakan plant

Dana Anand India recently hosted Mr. Rajiv Gupta, Vice President, Component Development and Material Management (Automotive Division) Mahindra & Mahindra, at the Chakan plant. Mr. Gupta was apprised of the processes and systems being followed at the Chakan axle plant during his business visit. He also shared his insights with the Dana Anand India team.

Storage tank inaugurated

Gabriel India, Sanand plant, hosted Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Director-Lubes, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL), and Mr Sunil Kant, General Manager, HPCL, who inaugurated the Vertical Overhead Bulk Oil Storage tank. The tank is part of the proposed future business plans of Gabriel India. Senior officials of Gabriel India, Sanand plant, were present during the inauguration.

ANAND Group presents ‘The ANAND Delhi Horse Show 2022’ scheduled from 15 – 17 April 2022 at The Army Equestrian Centre, Delhi Cantonment. Mrs. Anjali Singh receives the prestigious International Women’s Day Award from ICUNR

ANJALI SINGH is being awarded for her exceptional contribution towards the field of HOSPITALITY

Anjali Singh was born in New Delhi, is an artist and a businesswoman. Anjali was educated at Aiglon College, Switzerland, thereafter completing both her Bachelors and Masters in Fine Art degrees from the prestigious Central Saint Martins School of Art & Design in London.

She is the Executive Chairperson of ANAND Group since 2011, a conglomerate of 19 companies, as well as its public-listed flagship, Gabriel India Limited. The group annual turnover is over 1.4 Billion USD with 18000 employees.

In 2009, the group’s foray into experiential hotels started with SUJÁN, which currently has a portfolio of five award-winning luxury properties, four in Rajasthan and one in Kenya, all the ones located in India are members of Relais & Chateaux, an association of the world’s finest hotels, hoteliers and grand chefs.
