ModulT, the Haldex air disc brake, features a unique combination of low weight and high performance across an unbeatably broad field of applications. Weighing a mere 31 kg – including brake pads – it is the lightest 22.5″ available trailer brake. DBT22LT will be followed by the 17.5″, 19.5″ and 22.5″ versions for buses and trucks.

- • A single tappet mechanism with similar clamping force distribution to a twin tappet mechanism. The single-tappet mechanism assures superior pressure distribution. The result – in addition to superior braking capability – is even resulting in perfect load distribution on the brake pads.

- • Stainless sliding pins require no lubrication and provide a fit-and-forget solution. ModulT has just two sliding pins (instead of four) and a completely closed caliper.
