As a long-standing supporter of ANAND Group’s social impact efforts, AiPL works closely with SNS Foundation (SNSF) to advance initiatives focused on education, women’s empowerment, sustainable  livelihoods and water security in rural communities.

KEY INITIATIVES

Advancing Quality Education

AiPL supports programmes that strengthen learning outcomes for children studying in government and government-aided schools across the Trimbakeshwar region of Nashik. Through teacher support, remedial education, school infrastructure development and student enrichment activities, the initiative seeks to create an enabling learning environment for children from underserved communities, including those studying in tribal residential schools.

Impact

  • 10 partner government and government-aided schools supported
  • Approximately 203 students have qualified in the Maharashtra State Scholarship examinations over the past decade
Advancing Quality Education Advancing Quality Education

Empowering Women Through Sustainable Livelihoods

AiPL promotes financial inclusion and economic independence among rural women through self-help groups (SHGs). Working in partnership with the Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM), the programme strengthens community institutions, facilitates access to finance and supports women in building sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Impact

  • INR 9.02 million mobilised through microcredit initiatives
  • More than 30 self-help groups supported
  • 108 women enabled to start income-generating activities

Strengthening Water Security and Climate Resilience

AiPL has been a pioneer within the ANAND Group in supporting community-based water
conservation initiatives. Its early investment in rainwater harvesting laid the foundation for Project Neeraja, a large-scale programme focused on watershed development, pond rejuvenation, well restoration and check dam revival across rural Nashik. These initiatives help improve water availability, support agriculture and build resilience to climate-related challenges.

Impact

  • 20 water conservation projects implemented
  • Approximately 77 million litres of water storage capacity created
  • Positive impact on nearly 15,000 community members and 4,500 cattle
