During his annual visits to the USA, Mr. Anand would identify qualified Indians and get them placed in his ever-growing list of collaborative ventures. Implanting these young post graduates in India brought about a synergy of operational approaches, creating a hitherto unseen management style.

Gabriel entered into a successful distribution arrangement with Firestone India, which bolstered its distribution strength and helped create a distinctive identity. For a short period, a similar distribution arrangement for Victor Gaskets was signed with Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Co of India. These years saw the growth of the shock absorber and gasket businesses. An advertising blitz for Gabriel that Mr. Anand started in 1963, helped place the brand alongside other sectoral giant like Shell, Caltex, Firestone and Ceat over the next seven years.
