Mr. Sumit Bhatnagar

Mr. Sumit Bhatnagar is a member of the ANAND Executive Board (AEB) and Group President. He is also the Deputy Managing Director of ANEVOLVE, a cleantech platform that is complementary to the ANAND Group. Sumit is responsible for setting up and growing new organisations catering to the needs of the EV industry in the two-, three- and four-wheeler markets.
As a part of the AEB, he oversees the business operations of ANAND CY Myutec (ACYM) and CY Myutec ANAND (CYMA). He is also responsible for the Corporate University of ANAND, driving manufacturing excellence across the Group.
Sumit brings with him rich experience spanning more than two decades with the ANAND Group. In his long stint with ANAND, he has handled cross-functional profiles in Operations, Manufacturing and Supply Chain, as well as spearheaded technology transfer projects from various parts of the globe.
Sumit had the unique opportunity of transitioning from Operations to Human Resource as the Group Chief Human Resource Officer, ANAND, where he played a major role in strengthening and transforming organisations.
Sumit’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Production Engineering. In addition, he holds an Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management with specialisation in Finance and Strategy from IIM, Kozhikode. He is also a proud alumnus of the Sloan School of Management, MIT, and the Saïd Business School, Oxford
