Mr. S Sarathi

Mr. S. Sarathi is Joint Managing Director, Mando Automotive India and President, Group Chief Internal Auditor, ANAND. He is a qualified chartered accountant, cost accountant and company secretary. He has also successfully completed an advanced management course from Oxford University, UK. He joined ANAND in 1997 as Financial Controller for ANAND’s emission products JV, Faurecia Emission Control Technologies India (formerly Arvin Exhaust India). He worked as Financial Controller and Company Secretary of Gabriel India Limited from 2001 to 2005 and contributed to the merger of Stallion Shox with Gabriel.
In 2005, he moved to operations from finance function and headed Faurecia Emission Control Technologies India (formerly Arvin Exhaust India) operations as its Chief Operating Officer. Sarathi also did a short one-year stint as Vice President – Manufacturing with Spicer India Private Limited, ANAND’s JV with Dana, USA, before becoming Chief Internal Auditor of ANAND in 2010. Since then, he has been working to strengthen the systems and internal controls at ANAND companies and has succeeded in transforming the internal audit process and built a strong team there. Sarathi is also on the Board of ANAND JVs Takata India and Valeo Friction Materials India. He is a member of ANAND Ethics Committee and plays a key role in sensitising employees about the importance of ethical behaviour.
