Mr. M.S. Shankar, heads the corporate function of Technology & Innovation at ANAND. He drives the process of unblocking, enabling, multiplying and inspiring COOs, Plant Heads, Managers, and Engineers to achieve significant breakthrough results, by activating and embedding a process of systematic out-of-box thinking and breakthrough implementation.
As a real change leader, he was part of the visionary task force at ANAND to embed the culture of lean manufacturing through the ANAND Heijunka Production System. As the COO of Victor Gaskets India, he led the company to become an asbestos free company by evolving cutting edge technology for critical engine sealing products.
A Mechanical Engineer from The College of Engineering Pune, Fellow of Cost & Works Accountants of India, and graduate of Visionary Leader For Manufacturing, he has been skilled in Erehwon’s Orbit-shifting Leadership Practice.
With 28 years of experience at ANAND, across the gamut of functions ranging from Manufacturing, R&D, Finance, deputation as Product Engineer International at Victor Reinz DANA USA, he has moulded his thinking from synthesised learnings during his various assignments, starting with a 5 year stint at TELCO (now Tata Motors).
Winning the Golden Peacock Award for Innovation Management at the 14th London Global Convention 2014, has given him an additional energy to becoming an evangelist for deploying systematic Innovation Methodologies.
