Dana Anand India was felicitated with the Special Contribution in Supply Chain Efficiency award by Volvo-Eicher Commercial Vehicles (VECV) during their suppliers’ meet at Indore. The award was recognition of the sincere efforts put in across levels by team SIPL towards emerging as the most preferred supplier for VECV. Mr. Mahendra Goyal (President and Managing Director), Mr. Ramneek Jain (Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer) and Mr. Kaushik Trivedi (Head – Business and Development) represented SIPL at the awards ceremony. While extending their commendations to the whole of Dana Anand India team, the dignitaries said that an effective supply chain focuses on the outcomes and the external standards. Well-built supply chains improve margins, support expansion, drive positive consumer experiences and reduce operating costs. Determining the best way to move a product to its destination involves the processes of optimisation of order processing, receiving procedures, outbound schedules and reverse logistics.
