Emcon Technologies India Private Ltd receives 100 percent delivery award

Emcon Technologies India Private Ltd received the 100 percent Delivery award for the year 2006 and the Kaizen Ideas – Runner up award from Toyota Kirloskar Motors at an award ceremony held in April this Year.

Toyota Kirloskar Motors Ltd. has selected Emcon Technologies India Private Ltd, Bangalore as one of the pilot plant for TPS implementation owing to this development. Pattern production is being implemented in Bend Cell with assistance from Toyota Kirloskar Motors, which will further help in lean manufacturing.

    

Golden Peacock Award - 2006

Anand’s flagship company, Gabriel India has received the ‘Golden Peacock Innovation Award’ for unique innovation that helps to detect presence of nodular chrome formed during hard chrome electro plating on shock absorbers piston rods. Using the principle of optical science, this innovation will ensure 100% defect free products as well as a guarantee against early failures.

Gabriel-Nashik was the proud recipient of the 'NIMA Excellence Award' for the third consecutive year. This award is instituted by Nashik Industries & Manufacturers Association (NIMA) to recognise the significant achievement and performance excellence exhibited by medium and large scale Industries in Nashik District.

The Excellence award is conferred every three years, to honour companies in their endeavour to achieve international performance standard in production, human resources, customer orientation, work safety and environmental protection. The corporate success is evaluated on the basis of best-practices deployed, the jury inspects the applicant company's plants.

The award being received by Mr MK Singh, Plant Head and Mr SW Deshpande, DGM-Quality, Gabriel-Nashik from Dr MS Gosavi, Secretary Gokhale Education Society.

Haldex India

Haldex India Ltd received the 'Best Quality Performance Award (Zero PPM)' for continuous supply of quality products. The award was given by Mr ML Bapna, CEO, Tata HVAL and HVTL, Jamshedpur in April 2008. Haldex supplies Manual as well as Automatic Brake Adjusters to HV Axles, a part of Tata Motors. These are critical components and receiving this honour says a lot about the Company's commitment to quality and safety.

Haldex India Ltd has repeated the success story by receiving “Best Quality Performance Zero PPM Award” from HV Axles Limited, Jamshedpur for the year 2007-2008. HV Axles Limited is the Tata Motor’s divisions manufacturing axle assemblies for their Jamshedpur & Luchnow requirements.

Ansysco – The Super Achiever

Ansysco received the ‘Rashtriya Udyog Ratan’ award for “Individual Contribution for Nation’s Development”. The award, which is a sequel to the ‘Special Recognition award for Performance as small Scale Entrepreneur’ received by the Company in 2004. MAHLE received the Toyota Quality award for the 4th consecutive year.

Award for Excellence in Quality and Productivity

ACMA (Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India) introduced an award for 'Quality and Productivity', to recognise outstanding achievements by member companies in their area. Emcon Technologies India, an Anand Company received the award for Excellence in Quality and Productivity for the year 2007, at an event organised by ACMA in September 2008.

In the year 2005, the award criterion was revised completely reflecting the foundation elements required to build a high yielding, Quality and Productivity culture in an organisation. Experience of Cluster Programmes driven by ACMA, support from Deming Prize winning companies, OEMs and ACT Road Map of competitiveness for big companies and SMEs have helped in the revised criterion.

Best Supplier Award from Cummins India

Behr India received the Cummins Award for "Best Supplier" for business excellence in 2008 at the 3rd India ABO supplier Conference in Pune, India. This award was presented to Behr India for its unflinching and continuous support to Cummins in the area of quality, delivery and cost. Behr India's commitment towards maintaining zero ppm and excellent track record in Visco Fan Assembly was highly appreciated by Cummins.

Nearly 200 suppliers attended this conference, aimed at sharing Cummins future plans and also felicitating the suppliers for their contribution to the success of Cummins
in India.

Best Delivery Award from Tata Motors

Spicer India received the "Best Delivery" award from Tata Motors at the National Supplier Conference held in October 2008 in Mumbai. This delivery award was given to Spicer India for the Company's commitment towards 100% delivery from the Pantnagar facility to Tata Motors.

Bajaj TPM and Quality Awards

Gabriel India-Nashik received the Bajaj TPM award for implementing TPM in all cells, generating awareness of TPM, creating a formal TPM organisation and setting up of expert sub-committees to implement the four pillars of the TPM, made possible with the help of the Bajaj TPM team.

Gabriel India-Nashik also received the Bajaj Quality award for achieving Zero PPM and Zero KM, within a period of six months. This award was received by Mr MK Singh, Plant Head, Gabriel India from Mr Pradeep Srivastava, President - Engineering, Bajaj Auto Limited.
