Winsome Quality Pathfinder Award

Chang Yun India won the first Runner-up award in Winsome Quality Pathfinder of North–West Qual Tech awards 2008. The award function was organised by PTU’s Gyan Jyoti School for TQM and Entrepreneurship, Mohali, Chandigrah.

The project for which Chang Yun India received the award was named “Improving Die Life by Ten Times”, meant for improvement, of the dye for Synchroniser rings through DMAIC approach. The project helped the organisation achieve annual savings of Rs 9.4 million. The project was completed under the supervision of Mr Sudhir Srivastava, Sr. Manager, Chang Yun India. Other team members in the project were Mr Ankit Thapa, Asst. Manager, Mr Vipin Malik, Operating Engineers and Mr Ravinder Kumar, Operating Engineers, Chang Yun India.

Recognition for Best Practices in Warehouse Management

Behr India won the Silver award at Logistics Leadership summit held at Mumbai in March 2008. The Company participated in the category of Supply Chain Management and Warehouse Management. Practices at Behr India were shared and discussed with the industry experts. Mr Prashant Patil, Sr. Manager-Logistics and Mr Aman Sinha, Manager-Logistics, Behr India represented the organisation at the summit.

The Leadership summit was conceptualised as one of its kind, in the logistics and supply chain management sector in India. Two zonal events were organised in Delhi and Chennai. The summit was a platform for knowledge sharing. The key issues relevant in the present economic situation were discussed and industry experts present at the occasion recognised the implementation of concepts.

Award for Enduring Relationship

Anand Automotive Limited was the distinguished recipient of the award for 'Enduring Relationship' with Tata Motors. Business with Tata Motors was initiated in 1960's and today it is the single largest customer of Anand, supplying HVAC, Engine Cooling, Shock Absorbers, Driveshaft and Axles, Filtration, Engine Bearings, Gaskets and Friction Materials, Sealants and Airbrake adjusters. Relationship with TATA Motors has flourished and blossomed every year by ensuring transparency, changing with times and by adopting new technologies and introducing new products to meet the exacting quality standards of TATA Motors. This recognition is proof of this long lasting and beneficial relationship.

Award for Best Cooperation Company

Henkel Teroson India has been rated as one of the best supporting partners to Hyundai Motor India amongst its large vendor base of more than three hundred. The award was given for the excellent performance in proactively understanding Hyundai Motor India’s business needs in the dynamic business environment. Building confidence and dependability through unstinted support in tough times, managing JIT deliveries and building strong relationship and commitment in the process with all levels at Hyundai-line-leading to reciprocal support and recommendation from all levels - including operators.

This award will provide opportunity to Henkel Teroson India to enhance and improve the understanding of the customer requirements and jointly work with Hyundai Motor India as a strategic partner for its future requirements.

Award for Export Excellence

Perfect Circle India received Star Performer Trophy in February 2009 for its outstanding contribution to Engineering Exports in the year 2006-07. Mr Raghu Nair, Sr. Officer-Marketing, Perfect Circle India receiving the award from Mr Nayan N Shah, Regional Chairman, EEPC India. Also present is Mr Pankaj Chadda, Dy. Regional Chairman, EEPC India.

Award for Special Recognition

Mr Suneel Aggarwal, Plant Head along with his team Mr Shoby TJ, Asst. Manager-Maintenance, Mr Jagdish Singh, Administrative Officer, Mr Prakash Chand Sr. Engineer, Mr Kamal Raj, Operating Engineer, Mr Pankaj Jain, Asst. Manager-Production, Ansysco received Special Recognition award for Entrepreneurship from Mr K S Ludu, ADC MSME, New Delhi.
